Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using WebsitePulse.io, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Warrack Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, trading as WebsitePulse.io.

2. The service

WebsitePulse.io provides website uptime monitoring. We check the URLs you configure at the intervals permitted by your plan, and send alerts when we detect downtime or recovery.

We offer a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Plan features and limits are described on our pricing page.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You must provide accurate information when registering.

You may only use WebsitePulse.io for lawful purposes. You may not use the service to monitor websites you do not own or have explicit permission to monitor.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use WebsitePulse.io to:

• Monitor websites without authorisation from the site owner
• Attempt to circumvent, overload, or interfere with our monitoring infrastructure
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms without notice. Full details are in our Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Free plan

The Free plan is provided at no charge. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Free plan at any time with reasonable notice. Free plan users are required to display the WebsitePulse status badge with a working backlink to websitepulse.io as a condition of use.

6. Paid plans and billing

Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are shown in GBP. VAT is included in the displayed price where applicable. Our VAT registration number is GB473131608.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by UK consumer law.

7. Uptime and reliability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. WebsitePulse.io is provided "as is". We are not liable for losses resulting from missed alerts, false positives, monitoring gaps, or service downtime.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses including lost revenue, lost data, or reputational damage.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Intellectual property

WebsitePulse.io, its logo, and its software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our permission.

Your data remains yours. We claim no ownership over the URLs or monitoring data you store in the service.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, or if we discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where possible.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
