Who we are

WebsitePulse.io is operated by Warrack Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales. When this policy refers to "we", "us", or "our", it means Warrack Limited, trading as WebsitePulse.io.

What data we collect

Account data

When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we also collect billing information processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

Monitor data

We collect the URLs you add for monitoring, along with the check results (status, response time, timestamps) generated by our monitoring service.

Usage data

We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site.

Communications

If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence.

Why we collect it

We process your data for the following reasons:

• To provide the service — running uptime checks, sending alerts, and displaying your dashboard. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To manage your subscription — processing payments and managing your account tier. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To send service communications — alerts about your monitors, billing receipts, and important account notices. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To improve the service — understanding how people use WebsitePulse.io so we can make it better. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• To comply with legal obligations — retaining records as required by UK law. Legal basis: legal obligation.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the third-party services necessary to operate WebsitePulse.io:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Supabase — database and authentication hosting
• SendGrid — email delivery for alerts and notifications
• Twilio — WhatsApp alert delivery (Pro plan only)
• Render — backend infrastructure hosting
• Vercel — frontend hosting
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics
• Rewardful — affiliate programme tracking

All processors are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable law.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance reasons (typically 6 years for billing records under UK law).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Request a portable copy of your data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
